STILL FEELIN' LIKE P.DIDDY

This one nearly snuck past me, but Ke$ha finally released her video for Tik Tock. I feel like she's my own little hidden gem that no one cares about, but totally should. Actually, I was only lukewarm about her, until I finally saw her preform at Lollapalooza and she showered the crowd with condoms and glitter.

We had the baby, girl. But 9 months of binge drinking and chain smoking didn't give it a good start in life. Last time I saw our love child she was smoking crack in a strangers car, but I'm pretty sure she they were blasting this song, so it's all good.

SMD: NOVEMBER 4TH AT THE METRO

This summer Simian Mobile Disco completely blew me away at Lollapalooza with their DJ set, and Audacity of Huge stayed on every playlist I made throughout the summer. They'll be playing with Phenomenal Handclap Band with DJ sets by JDH and Dave P on November 4th, so don't miss out. They'll be DJing at Smartbar afterward, the cover of which is covered by a ticket to the Metro show, so you have no excuse to not go.

FAME MONSTER

This is old news, but I wanted to post it for anyone who might not have it yet. Lady Gaga's rerelease of The Fame is coming out November 24th, and will contain 8 new tracks. Why didn't you just make a new album, girl? Anyway, I'm creaming myself to hear her new music, even if the first single, Bad Romance, has left me feeling really let down. Alejandro is totally giving me hard ons though.

Earlier this month, Ssion premiered their film BOY here in Chicago. They managed to weave all of their music videos together and turn them into one epic story of two kids who join the Church of Satan and get thrown into the ultimate rock and roll fairy tale. I still just want to live inside of the Bullshit video. Can Roseanne, Madonna and Courtney Love all find some way to adopt me?
